"As a graphic designer I can't look at typography the same way as other human beings. I look at it essentially from a visual point of view. I can not disconnect myself from looking at type. This is one reason why I don't use my own typefaces much in my graphic design work. Besides the fact that I usually can't find the right occasion to use them, I am also too close to the construction of the letter forms and start to see them as single objects instead of as an integral part of a larger text."
Jonathan Branbrook, 1992

This is typoGRAPHIC, an interactive experience informed by type and typography. It aims to illustrate the depth and import of type, and to raise relevant questions about how typography is treated in the digital media, specifically online. A continuous work in progress, we welcome any suggestions and comments concerning the site.
