RAZORFISH STUDIOS' RSUB TO HOST LIVE WEBCAST OF CHUCK D LECTURE AT BROWN UNIVERSITY

(NEW YORK) March 15, 1999 - Razorfish Studios announced today it will be transmitting an exclusive live webcast of Public Enemy leader Chuck D's lecture at Brown University on Monday, March 22nd at 7:30pm on the Razorfish Subnetwork ("RSUB") at http://www.rsub.com.

"The first Public Enemy vinyl changed my life. Many years later Chuck D's work remains vital and we are thrilled to help distribute his ideas," said Michael Simon, President of Razorfish Studios.

Chuck D, the leader and co-founder of the group Public Enemy, is best known for his booming, powerful vocals, his congenial yet forceful personality, and his ability to rap about important issues of race, rage, and inequality. Spike Lee has referred to him as "one of the most politically and socially conscious artists of any generation." Active on the lecture circuit since 1989 with energetic speeches on rap, race, and reality, Chuck D has spoken at over 300 schools, prisons, and other organizations.

"Razorfish Studios continues to draw innovative talent into collaborations that have produced great work. This effort with Chuck D is our first chance to do so with a living legend. We couldn't be more pleased," said Jeff Dachis, CEO of Razorfish Studios.

Chuck D has worked as a special correspondent and contributor for the Fox News Channel, Nightline and MTV. His other recent activities include the founding of the SLAMJamz label, whose roster boasts such artists as Kyle Jason, Da Freeknix, Hyenas In the Desert, King, Virus.com, and The Atliens; his release of the critically acclaimed LP "Autobiography of Mista Chuck;" penning the national bestseller "Fight the Power," an agenda, manifesto and guideline for the post millennium hip-hop mind; and a collaboration with Spike Lee which resulted in the "He Got Game" soundtrack, the first score/soundtrack produced entirely by one rap group.

Currently, Chuck D is completing his second book, a diary from 1997-1998 called "Anatomy of a Rap Circus Within: The Rise, Fall and Rise of Public Enemy," tentatively scheduled for release in late 1999.
