"The picture of Tupac was taken in '93. He came in, was really cool, was really nice and was right into the business of doing photographs. He had that presence about him that is just so rare; he just stood there and was so aware of how he looked. I'm not usually one to ask someone to take off their shirt to do a photo session, but he happened to be changing his shirt and I saw all his tattoos and I thought we have to do something with this. He was totally fine with it and knew that there was a good image in that.
